I am back and He continues to hold us in His hands

Wow! What how time flies. We are officially settled in New Orleans after our military transfer and I will have more time to blog. A big thanks to all the readers for being so patient.

While I do not at this moment have some profound truth to share with you in terms of a very lengthy post, I wanted to just reflect upon how the Lord continues to hold us all in His loving hands. We all have those times in our lives when we feel so overwhelmed or try to take on everything ourselves. I find myself doing that time after time. It is only through constantly seeking Him and throwing up my hands in surrender that I keep myself grounded. It is only Him that is unshakable in this shaky and uncertain world. Have you experienced a lot of changes in your life recently? Perhaps you have just moved (like me!), found a new job, lost an old job, experienced financial difficulty, lost a loved one, gained a loved one, or changed the direction of your life. The Word tells us that those that trust on the Lord cannot be moved:

Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved but abides forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people.

Psalm 125:1-2

I know that this is true in my life. He has surrounded me and given me strength. In Him I cannot be moved.

God Bless you all...and stay tuned. I have much more to share (smiles).
