YES I AM STILL ALIVE

Hello to all! I just wanted to post to let everyone know that I am still alive. Being an "Everyday Christian Mom", I have been focusing on following him as I handle the ups and down of kids, life and more. A break from the blog was in order to make the important things were taken care of.

In an effort to make more time for what's important, I am taking a completely different professional route,pursuing my passion for Art and helping others. I am excited to be in the process of opening a Chapter of Art Without Boundaries in the New Orleans Westbank Area by becoming certified as a Mneme™ Therapist. What is MnemeTherapy™ you ask?

Mneme Therapy uses singing, story telling, and movement in addition to painting in a way that involves "whole-brain communication."
MnemeTherapy™ uses everyday
pleasures such as singing, movement,
painting and story telling in a unique
combination to stimulate dramatic
changes in the brain. Although our goal is
to provide a rewarding experience,
documented testimonies show significant
improvement in some clients in verbal
skills, mobility, combativeness, spatial
acuity and understanding instructions.

The Art Without Boundaries Mission

To Improve The Quality Of Life For Individuals With Autism, Alzheimer's Disease & Other Related Disorders Of The Brain By Promoting MnemeTherapy™. Through MnemeTherapy™ We Are Able To Witness A Meaningful Improvement And Renewed Interest In Life.

You can help us raise money to open the chapter through the IMAGINE THAT program. For a small donation ($5.00 for 5 images), you can purchase down-loadable images of artwork that has been created by individuals with autism, Alzheimer's Disease, and other related disorders. When you make a donation please specify AV123 as the recipient, so that the funds will go to our chapter!
